About

Deep Sarcasm is the personal website of Rohit Garg, someone who is writing all this text himself and feeling awkward naming himself in the third person. Assuming that your intentions in coming to this page were either to learn more about this website, or more about the author (me!), I will now proceed to give you information on both. You have the option of skipping to the section you want using one of the preceding links.

About Deep Sarcasm

Deep Sarcasm was formerly known as Deep Sarchasm, where the second word was an intentional misspelling, based on the merger of sarcasm and chasm, defined as sar·chasm (’sär-”ka-z&m) : The giant gulf (chasm) between what is said and the person who doesn’t get it. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to be helping the purpose of the website, and was therefore changed to what it is now.

This website is supposed to be a Journal as well as a kind of online notebook into which I scribble whatever I please. Due to that, it might not always be a pleasure to read, but it will always be a pleasure for me to write here. I use it to blog about my days, write half-baked (or sometimes well steamed) articles, put up videos I found entertaining and show the world poems I may not be proud of. All in all, this is my website, where I put my feelings and myself into words.

I’m also constantly looking for blogs to read and link exchanges (incidentally, these two are unrelated. If I like your blog I will link to it, there is no “exchange” about it), so if you happen to be interested, drop me a line.

About The Author

Since I’m writing this myself, I’ll take care to be modest (read: small paragraph written in lethargy up ahead). I’m just your average run of the mill Indian kid who loves nonsense and science, sucks at his native language compared to English and goes to University in Rochester. Apparently I am also slowly becoming an Otaku, though that is a process that might never go to completion. To be honest, I’m not all that average - speaking of which I don’t think there is any average guy anywhere.

Unless you want to know a whole lot of irrelevant stuff like where I was born (Sonebhadra), what my favorite color is (Blue), my date of birth (29th Sep) or why I am so random (No idea), I don’t really have anything to tell you that you cannot infer from my present and future blog posts. I also used to have two other blogs, way back when I didn’t care about much. If you would like to visit the better one of these, here’s a link.

Thanks for reading all of that, I henceforth release you from the charms of this page to continue your quest for the end of the internet.
